Anna Delvey Responds To Rabbits In Her Photoshoot Being Dumped in Park | E! News
Annadelvia is fighting back after being accused of animal cruelty. The fake Aras who was convicted in 2019 of grand lararseny and theft of services for defrauding wealthy individuals and businesses speaks out after the bunnies were used in her photo shoot and later dumped in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York. According to the 34year-old’s Instagram story, her shoot with photographer Jasper Solaf did involve live rabbits. But she says Christian Baddy, who is a member of the hair team that she briefly met during a fashion week event last year, responded that he knew someone who could lend bunnies for a few hours. And instead of the animals being from a legitimate source like he had claimed, she says he had obtained them from Facebook Marketplace with the intention of releasing them into Prospect Park. Anna says, “The idea that someone would compromise the well-being of innocent animals for personal networking opportunities is deeply disturbing to me, adding she is an animal lover.” She drops texts outing Christian where she requested screenshots of the exchanges between him and the person he borrowed the bunnies from. Christian says, “I had deleted it before they went down.” To which publicist Kelly Catron responds, “This sounds like more lie. Christian, why would you delete something so irrelevant before it went down? Christian claims to have panicked with the bunnies, dumping them. Kelly then accuses Christian of lying in the text screenshots, writing, “I believe you knew that these animals were being surrendered to you. They weren’t being borrowed because otherwise it doesn’t make any sense. If someone was just loaning them to you, they would of course answered the phone to get them back.” And ultimately finds a screenshot of the original post to Facebook that reads, “I need to surrender my three bunnies. Anyone can recommend where? I live in Yonkers, New York. Thank you.” E-News has reached out to Anna and Christian for comment, but has not yet heard back. [Music]
