Regina Hall and Anna Ferris sharing their excitement over returning to the scary movie franchise. The actresses saying to deadline August 15th, “We can’t wait to bring Brenda and Cindy back to life and be reunited with our great friends Keenan Shawn and Marlin weigh-ins. Three men we’d literally die for.” In Brenda’s case, again, Yeah, fans will learn next summer if Brenda is bound to die on screen once more with the new installment set to slash into theaters June 12th, 2026, more than 25 years after Anna’s breakout role as the funny final girl. With the two all in all paring hit horror flicks across four films. The Weigh-ins brothers also hyped the reunion nearly two decades in the making with the siblings telling Deadline, “We couldn’t be more excited to be part of the new scary movie and work with each other again.” With the brothers noting, “This is a franchise we created more than 20 years ago. We remember people laughing in the aisles and hope to see that again.
