I love this couple… this is pure love, respect and kindness. When I visited the lovely Vienna museums, I was with a man I thought loved me, yet- he was so distant. While in the museum or anywhere else we went, he didn’t hold my hand until I reached out to him. I recall in the museum I almost got lost, couldn’t find him as there were too many people, so I traced back and searched one room after another – only to see him standing in one of the paintings oblivious that he had someone with him. My heart fell to the ground, I felt so alone and so sad… I thought it was a meeting of hearts. It became an eye opener and a revelation of what could have been a difficult relationship. A few months after, I broke off despite the “love” he professed. I just couldn’t take 😢the emotional distance and lack of affection while we were together (and to think, that was our first time together). I’ve moved on and vowed to never trust words of poetry and gifts unless that togetherness and “presence” became an exclusive vow. In my mind, I thought that togetherness as shown here by Tom and Zendaya was a given. Not all men are this way and what a shock it was for me to experience it.
