      i think it is time to stop all of these remakes, reboots and spin-offs. Haven’t we learned from and just like that?

      The Office was a groundbreaking show for its time, and helped pioneer the dry, awkward humor that became so emblematic of millennial shows

      It’s also aged like milk.

      Can we stop churning out endless sequels and spin offs? It’s lazy, and trying to evoke some nostalgia for views. What happened to new and original writing??

      Kind of a dumb decision given how a lot of the more successful recent shows do weekly drops, maybe they don’t have much confidence in it

      I hope this is fun to watch but I’m worried with the high expectations from the office and rushed schedule, it’s destined for cancellation.

      I wonder if I would be more excited for this show if it wasn’t so blatantly obvious that they were just reheating the office’s nachos.

      well that doesn’t seem to bode well for their confidence with the show, but i’m still going to give it a shot. it has several people i like in it, and the first season of the office had its own growing pains. i guess we’ll see how it’s received.

      I’ve hated every single remake of The Office (except the American one!) and I don’t understand why they keep trying to make these spin-offs, it feels like they’re destined to fail.
      But I love Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore, and Tim Key wrote one of my favorite movies of 2025 (*The Ballad of Wallis Island*), so I will definitely give this a try. I’m also happy with the release method; to be honest, I’m not a fan of weekly releases anymore.

      Also, I really need another good comedy and I hope this will be funny (I’m watching *Platonic* and *Here We Go*, and I recommend them both if you’re looking for something funny)!

      I hate it when they dump the whole series at once. It usually takes me a week or two to get to stuff, and my work schedule doesn’t really allow for bingewatching – by the time I finally catch up, it’s all been spoiled for me, and everything’s already been discussed to death online.

      I hope not, but I have feeling this gets canceled before it finds its footing. This day and age and all that.
