Prince Harry has been sent a warning on how he could attempt to rebuild his relationship with King Charles. According to a PR expert, the 40-year-old needs to avoid “more ugliness” – especially when it comes to his bombshell interviews.

This comes after members from both the King and Harry’s teams were photographed having a discreet meeting at a private members’ club back in July. The aim of the meeting was to build a closer working relationship between the two teams.

Speaking of what Harry could do to help rebuild the relationship with his father, Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, told Newsweek: “I do think there is a path because I think Harry does want it.”

He continued: “I think the King would rather have smoother relations in a way that assists the monarchy, so I do see reconciliation happening but its going to take time and more patience and consistent discipline by Harry.

“The question is: can he do that or will there just be some more monetization where he’s going to spew some more ugliness? That’s what we’re going to have to find out, but I don’t think it’s as long of a shot as people say and I think it would be good for both of them.”

Harry could be set to travel back to the UK in September for the annual WellChild Awards, which is an event he attends each year.

The King is set to have a busy month, with US President Donald Trump travelling for a state visit to Windsor Castle between September 17 to 19.

Harry has been at loggerheads with the royals – especially his father and brother – for some time.

The tensions heightened when he made the decision to step down as a senior working royal alongside his wife Meghan Markle in 2020.

The couple now reside in California with their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.
