Lil Nas X Breaks Silence After Being Released From Jail | E! News

Lil NasX is out from behind bars. The rapper, whose real name is Montter Lamar Hill, was released from custody August 25th. And in an Instagram story posted August 26th, he says, “Your girl is going to be okay.” You all, okay, she’s going to be all right. She’s going to be all right. That was terrifying. That was terrifying. That was a terrifying last four days, but your girl is going to be all right. This comes after the August 24th incident where the officers responded to a report of a nude man walking in the street on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, California around 5:50 a.m. that morning. The 26-year-old has now exited the Los Angeles Superior Court in Vanise, California, wearing a blue inmate uniform and a pair of sandals as he made his way to a waiting SUV. Earlier in the day, Lil NasX was charged with three felony counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one felony count of resisting an executive officer. According to a news release from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, the release also notes that he plead not guilty to the charges. If convicted, the Grammy winner faces up to five years in state prison per the release. He is due back in court September 15th for a preliminary hearing in the case.
