Anne Hathaway Has Epic Response to Falling on Devil Wears Prada 2 Set | E! News

The actress, who returns as Andy Sachs in the flick, took quite a tumble while filming the sequel in New York City August 27th. Bystanders saw Anne gracefully exit a building. Then, oop, girl was gone down the steps. However, the celeb proved she was fine by standing up and raising her arms like, “I’m okay.” Oh, wow. He’s fine. Now, Ann is addressing the stumble on social media, recalling one very memorable oops from her breakout role in The Princess Diaries, which was totally unscripted as well. Hi, Lily. Hi. Okay, so you know what? I made a list of all the reasons for you not to be a princess. Number one, no privacy. Number two, you always have to look just right. Number three, are you okay? In a post on Instagram, Anne compares the moments in a sideby-side with the caption, “20 years later, still falling for you.” Since the sequel was announced earlier this year, a few details about the film have been shared. For one, several newcomers will be joining the cast, including Kenneth Brana, who will play the husband of Meyer Street’s Miranda Priestley character. According to a press release from 20th Century Studios, the story will follow Miranda as she struggles with the decline of traditional magazine publishing. Meanwhile, she’s also facing off with her former assistant, Emily Charlton, played by Emily Blunt, who is now a high-powered executive at a luxury advertising company. Then, while the devil works hard, Anne Hathaway works harder. And judging by her effortless recovery, it’s not today or any day, Satan. Oh, wow. [Applause] [Music]
