    First Look at Martin Scorsese in Julian Schnabel’s ‘In the Hand of Dante’


    The director plays an elderly sage named Isaiah, who influences Dante Alighieri while he is writing “The Divine Comedy.”

    “In the Hand of Dante,” also starring Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Gerard Butler, Al Pacino, and Franco Nero, will make its world premiere, appropriately enough, at the 2025 Venice Film Festival.

      I have to say, I would believe if someone told that this picture was taken in 1800s or early 1900s.

      You had me at Martin Scorsese and lost me with Gal Gadot:/

      But he looks incredible and convincing.

      Oscar Isaac plays Dante and Nick Tosches (the author of the book the film is based on)

      I saw this movie cause it got leak and i was curious,lol.i thought it was boring and pretentious,oscar isaac was good(not surprising) and so is gerard butler but gadot and momoa stand out for the wrong reasons,ironically scorsese was better that both of them and i don’t know why they had such a strong italian accent when neither oscar or scorsese talked like that in their scenes(and they were in the 14 century italy,lol)

      I still don’t understand how Gal Gadot keeps landing roles. That woman simply cannot act. Period
