Comedian Reggie Carroll Dead at 52 After Shooting | E! News
The comedy world is mourning the passing of Reggie Carroll. On Facebook, the South Haven Police Department confirms the news of the comedy legend’s death, writing, “We can confirm that on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, South Haven Police Department responded to the area of Burton Lane in regard to a shooting. South Haven officers located one male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The officers and medical personnel provided life-saving techniques, but the individual succumbed to his injuries. The victim has been identified as 52-year-old Reginald Carol. One male is in custody and has been charged with the murder of Reginald Carol. Our thoughts are with the family of Mr. Carol. Thank you to the community for their patience and understanding. After the tragic news broke, Club Mobtown comedy paid tribute to the beloved Maryland resident who traveled across the country for his comedy specials. Club Mobtown writes on Instagram, “Rest in power comedian Reggie Carol. Thank you for being one of the OGs who supported us early on.
