Meghan Markle has shared a sweet but rare update on her and husband Prince Harry’s children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four. Speaking on the new series of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that while both kids have a typical American accent, sometimes they’ll slip into a British one — especially when using one particular word.
The 44-year-old explained that when Archie and Lili say the word ‘zebra,’ they say it in a British accent. So, instead of saying ‘zee-brah,’ they’ll say ‘zeh-brah.’
“My kids, they’ll say a little bit of both,” Meghan shared on the show, before jokingly adding that they’ll never break out into British when it comes to cooking. “Because I guess Papa’s not cooking as much.”

Meghan, who moved to Montecito in California, with her family in 2020 after stepping down from royal duties, previously shared the same thing back in March while appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show.
She said: “Oh, some of the words that they still say with a British accent, so they’ll say ‘zeh-brah’ and what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out and because they have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him and I think it’s adorable. Zebra is a good one.” OK, this is just the cutest thing ever.
Meghan’s Netflix show is a lifestyle-based reality series where she invites friends and celeb guests to a California estate, where they cook, garden, and host together.
