Kaitlyn Bristowe Shares Stepdad Diagnosed With “Incurable” Stage 4 Cancer | E! News

Kayn Bristo is asking for prayers. On August 30th, the Bachelorette alum shares the heartbreaking news to social media that her stepdad Rob has been diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer. As she writes alongside a series of images about 8 months ago, I asked everyone to pray for my stepdad Rob. I didn’t say why, but he was diagnosed with cancer and he was going into surgery to get it removed. Your prayers worked and they had gotten it all. He then went back for a follow-up scan and it had moved into his stomach. He is now battling an incurable stage four cancer. She continues, “We are all devastated. I do believe that he will beat the timeline given because he’s a stubborn, strong warrior with a passion for life, but I really do believe in the power of prayer, the power of manifestation, and the power of love. So, please send it all his way.” And going on to reflect on the recent time she spent with her parents at a lakehouse, he means the world to me and our blended family. It was really special to spend the last few days playing cards, eating home-cooked meals, and just telling each other how much we cherish our family’s relationship. Time is so precious. [Music]
