as a California resident I can’t really enjoy this trolling as much as everyone else can. Newsom is consistently [awful to homeless people](https://ktla.com/news/california/newsom-launches-statewide-task-force-to-clear-homeless-encampments/) and [even did a photoshoot throwing out their stuff](https://xcancel.com/CAgovernor/status/1424819204750905377). not to mention [siding with and platforming transphobes](https://www.erininthemorning.com/p/newsoms-bizarre-interview-with-maga)! he is not the progressive hero he pretends to be.
