Misreporting one’s age is pretty common in Hollywood.
Only popular/relevant specifically Netflix-based romcom atm is *Heartstopper*, which debuted 3 years ago too as a show
This sender has definitely lost a few roles to whoever this is about, “they’re getting away with it” gives the whole game away. There’s no other way they’re this surprised about someone lying about their age or older actors being cast to play younger.
I think it’s probably Noah LaLonde. No one can convince me that guy isn’t 30+, but that’s pretty common in Hollywood. The guy who played Miley’s high school aged brother on Hannah Montana was 29 or 30, playing a 16 year old.
It’s Nikki Rodriguez from ‘My Life with the Walter Boys’ people found a Facebook post congratulating her for graduating high school in 2010 which is very young if she were to actually be born in 2002 lol. There’s more post too mostly by her best friend over the years who is 33 posting them together. It’s funny how they’re calling it an exclusive blind when this was just exposed on tiktok 😭.
Also no hate to her lying it’s really not a big deal just fun gossip
Why are we doing this again ? When rumors like this were circulating about rebel Wilson and Margot Robbie (Bobby finger from who weekly was one who created the Margot rumors btw) it turned out to be false.
It’s also really common to hire adult actors for high school roles because the labor laws are different than when working with adolescents on set
This is nothing new in the industry there are a lot of actresses who are older than they say they are – Hollywood is brutal to women over 35

Lying about her age isn’t a good look but Hollywood loves throwing adults into teen shows so I don’t really know what the big deal is when Hollywood has a long list of sins they need to pay penance for first.
I instantly thought of Alexa Demie but her wiki does not lie about her age which is 34
I’m pretty sure a lot of actors lie about their age. I think it’s their only way to get jobs.

It’s Nikki Rodriguez. She’s playing a 16 year old on a show called “My life with the Walter boys” on Netflix. This is all over TikTok right now because someone found out that she graduated high school 15 years ago but she’s supposedly 22 years old (according to google). They also found photos of her drinking margaritas with friends like 8 years ago lol. She’s definitely in her early to mid 30s, she looks great tho
If I could get away with it, I would. So long as the actors I’m doing anything romantic with are well over 18 as well. Ageism in Hollywood is crazy so I get it. I wish we could all stop looking at anything over the age of 25 as being decrepit. Life certainly doesn’t end in your 30s but until then, get that bag.
