This is admirable but I wish we’d see similar actions being taken in the US.
I know Lush isn’t perfect, but omg they’re so much better than most big businesses. I went a few months ago for the honey shampoo bar that I love and was stopped in my tracks by a massive trans rights display in their window and all over their store. Walked in and was immediately handed a leaflet. They’ve had signs up in their store in support of Gaza for a long time.
They’ve always stood in solidarity with Palestine
More of this, please, and more widespread. I can’t use normal soap because of sensitive skin, but I love how that place smells even if I just walk past the door.
I mean the powers that be don’t care about a business closing for a single day. Not sure what that will accomplish but the vocal stance is important nonetheless
