Prince Harry has reportedly been hit with a “huge blow” as Sally Davey, the chief executive of his eco-conscious company Travelyst, is set to step down after five years in the role.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, launched Travelyst in 2019 with the aim of making tourism more environmentally friendly. However, Davey’s departure comes on the heels of the company’s chairman leaving their position after only a year and a half. Additionally, last summer, Josh Kettler, Harry’s chief of staff, left his post at the firm after just three months.
A source told Daily Mail’s Richard Eden that Davey’s exit was a “huge blow to Travelyst” and that she had played a crucial role in its development.

In her farewell statement, Davey expressed her gratitude towards Prince Harry, saying: “I will always be grateful for your support, including as my confidant and guide during this personal decision to step back. I’m proud of what we’ve built together. And while I’ll be stepping down as CEO, I remain as committed as ever to Travalyst’s mission.”

The news comes as Harry is set to visit the UK this month and potentially meet with his father, the King.
If this encounter happens, it would mark the first time the duo would have seen each other since February 2024, with tensions between Harry and his royal family members believed to be continuing. While the King may be reportedly receptive to the possibility of a meeting, the same can’t be said for Prince William, who hasn’t been speaking with his younger brother Harry for quite some time.
Harry – who stepped away from royal duties in 2020 – will be in London for the 2025 WellChild Awards, a charity he serves as patron of.
Though William, 43, may have reportedly turned down the opportunity to see Harry during his forthcoming visit, he reportedly honors the King’s authority to make his own choices regarding his relationship with his youngest son.
While it remains unconfirmed whether Charles will meet with Harry next week, it is speculated that Charles and Harry have had a rocky relationship of late, with Harry revealing to the BBC in May that his father “won’t speak” to him.
Prince Harry left royal duties in January 2020 and published his tell-all memoir, Spare, three years later. The fallout from the headline grabbing book is believed to have soured relations within the family.
