Selena Gomez Reveals Best Part of Working With Steve Martin, Martin Short | E! News

The hit Hulu show Only Murders in the Building is back for season 5. And we caught up with Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short. And Selena reflected on five years of working with her legendary co-stars. Nobody accidentally slices off their finger. This is a message. It’s like the horse head and the Godfather. I know that one. They came to you on the night of my wedding. I made him an offer. He couldn’t uh decline. Okay. I’m so happy that, you know, it’s been 5 years working with Stephen Marty. It’s been a blast. I feel really fortunate and blessed. How have you guys seen her grow over the course of the last few years? So much has happened in her life as even as an outsider, but also as an insider, you know, in the hallway, you know, uh you well, you know, I mean, backstage, offstage, in the hallway, the dressing room thing, you know, the life off off camera. Yes. is uh you know we we know her and we read about her you know so we have to put it all together. I never read about you. How many more seasons of this do you guys want to do? I’ve decided to stop there’s an announcement in 2035. I don’t I could do this. I I’m I’m very happy. I I think as long as we feel that the quality is what it is presently, I think we’ll always want to do it. A guy fills a fountain with blood in the most murderous building in New York. They say it’s accidental. So, we just assumed murder. How would you describe the season? I’d say pay attention to the story because it’s a lot to follow to go, “Oh, he got that. Oh, he got that.” But I like that. I think over a 10 episode show, it’s good to have a nice complicated story. You guys have always got fantastic guest stars on the show. This season is no different. Talk to me about, you know, getting in a room with these actors. Well, I think, you know, we have great writers who write for these characters and the hang is really fun. The the holding area, we have a lot of fun in that area because there’s so many good guest stars. You don’t always have an individual scene with them, but I happen to have a good individual scene with Tea Leone. And then I had a nice scene with Kristoff Waltz. You have a lot of scenes with Merryill. Yeah. and Renee. Oh, yeah. Yeah. What would she like to work with for you? Fantastic. [Music]
