And I think this is this movie is really really important because it really speaks to Hollywood like hey we can do these kind of movies as well. Yeah. You know what I’m saying? We don’t we don’t if if if it’s sci-fi you’re not just thinking of a of a spoof for a parody comedy. Like this is a real actual movie with a real love story, a real story of friendship. It’s a story of survival. And it’s like a really really good movie to go take the whole family to watch. And the sci-fi is is is good. That’s a good genre. Is is the black person the first to die in this movie? Nope. Really? Nope. We made it. Change has arrived. We made it. I don’t look I will say and I don’t if this is not on purpose, you know. Maybe I should. Yes, it is. Maybe I shouldn’t say this. You know what? Because if I want people to go see the movie actually, I want y’all to go watch it. But he laughing already. I’m just saying it’s the contrast of a black person dying first. My man Marcus Houston put your piss when you say that. Put your pist What is it? It’s a what? It’s a contrast. I’m I’m glad that we’re also speaking about your transition from in front of the camera to calling the shots, behind the camera, producing, writing, and also, you know, going through the full gamut of your career because you’ve been in the industry since you were a kid, you know, when it comes to immature, when it comes to Sister Sister, and I imagine that type of early fame can shape how you see yourself and how I’m sure others expect you to show up. And now as a grown ass man, as a filmmaker, as a husband, are there things you’re still unlearning or that you have unlearned from those early years in the spotlight from childhood fame? I think um the important thing for us when we’re immature, we uh we focused on the relationship with each other as brothers and we focused on still being kids and still and not having the the entertainment business cloud our minds and cloud our judgment. We were taught early that, you know, um this could go away at any moment. So, I never really bought into the the the fame and and fortune of it. I was, it was always like a job to me and it was always something I love to do. I love to entertain ever since I was little. I was that kid at the at the barbecue, the only kid in the middle of the circle dancing and everything. So, I was always that kid. So, entertainment’s always been just part of me, but I never looked at it as if people come up to you and say, “Oh, I love you. Oh, you’re this. You’re that.” Yeah, but you don’t know me. You know what I mean? So, it’s like you can love me. You can love what I do, but you don’t really know me to love me. That’s why I I’ve been able to to, you know, uh, bat all these rumors and stuff like that because if you don’t know who I am, you can’t even you can’t judge me, whether that be bad or good. You can’t say anything bad or good about me because you don’t know me. So, I never really took it as, oh, and let my head get so big to where I like bought into the hype. I’m like, this could all go away tomorrow. So, what is my next plan and what’s my next move? I’ve always been like that. So that’s what helped
