Lindsay Ellis: We here in the US are having to claw back Rights that most of us took for granted our whole lives. But it must be done. We can’t do everything, but we must do what we can. We must do it at home for our Children, and we must do what we can for the Children of Gaza. They are the same.
See my comment for a link to Lindsay’s full 142-minute video on YouTube (her fundraiser for the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund is just below the video).

This is what I really want people to understand—what happens in Gaza isn’t separable from what happens in the U.S. Fascism is here because genocide is there. You can’t solve one problem without solving the other. Once it becomes acceptable to throw away an entire group of people solely based on where they are, or the color of their skin, *anything* becomes acceptable. The moral red lines that need to exist in a healthy society aren’t there. It’s basically open season at that point. Peace and safety cannot exist in a world where Palestinians are being slaughtered en masse, and I was an idiot for not seeing that sooner.

Lindsay’s fundraiser for the ***Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund*** is just below the video. That’s the same organization that got [Rahaf](https://www.reddit.com/r/Fauxmoi/comments/1mprbdv/ms_rachel_this_girl_is_so_brave_leaders_should/) out of Gaza.
