Jesus Christ. This person was actively and intentionally refusing to interact with this child. That’s so heartbreaking… How can you be racist towards a fucking child who just wanted a hug.

Edit: didnt realize the video kept going. Second half definitely looks worse
I dunno, ill never say racism isnt a possibility but watching the video it kind of seems like the last kid was maybe out of the line of site of the eyeholes and the chipmunk was standing up. The kid is then grabbing the fur a bit but might not have felt it or had just decided it was time to move in that direction. It at least doesnt appear to be intentional or blatant to me after watching a few times.

I’ve seen other videos of children black and poc being ignored at Disney by the ppl in costumes and it breaks my heart for them. I would say boycott but every lil kid wants to go to Disney I wish more can be done to have those individuals that choose to do that to kids fired or suspended. It’s appalling behavior.

I’m so angry on her behalf, that’s not fair, she’s a kid and just wanted to hug the fluffy chipmunk too!?

They probably can’t see out of the costume, they have a tiny field of view

That is definitely no line of site issue that is deliberate. I hope the employee is sacked. What a horrible human being.

Im a bit shocked only cause I know how strict Disney is with characters and workers ignoring / disrespecting guests but maybe it’s different in France

Playing devil’s advocate here: Is there literally any other reason that can be plausibly put forward for this other than ‘it’s definitely racism’?

Ok I was skeptical early into the vid because those suits have poor visibility so it could just be an accident.
But in the second part where he’s carrying the kid around the Disney worker is 100% intentionally avoiding them and going around purposefully interacting with every other kid around.
100% seems targeted and malicious.

Please just boycott Disney altogether in every way you can. Don’t give them your money! They don’t deserve it.
