A Catch Up With B*Witched More Than 25 Years After “C’est La Vie” | E! News
It was gobsmacking. Um, remember we were in Italy thinking hopefully we’ll have a top 20. Um, and we kind of felt like that right up until the midweek which basically on a Wednesday you’d find out where you might be in the chart position and we thought hopefully it’s top 20. And our producer said like you’re you’re number one midweek and we were like aha that’s hilarious. Where are we really? He was like no you’re number one. And we were like what? Oh it was unbelievable. And I think as well it was just it was such a a new territory for us. So it was kind of like we spent about three months per tour over there. So we did um two and sync tours and then we did one with 98 degrees and then we did two Nickelodeon tours. Um and each time we spent three or four months out there. So it was like the proper kind of tour experience. We were living on the bus, waking up in a different state every morning. Um so yeah, it was really really cool. can also remember being in awe of NSYNC. Oh my god. Admittedly, when we were told we were going on tour with them, we were like, who? What? Our manager. Yeah. No, exactly. Because they weren’t big in the UK at the time. So, our manager was like, you’re going on tour with a really big American boy band. And we were like three boys. And then she goes, “It’s Enc.” And we were like, “What?” We have to look them up. Which is kind of ridiculous cuz they were insanely huge in the USA. And they’re amazing. We just have a lot of respect for what they did on stage was they’re exceptional. We were so young when we got into the band. So, we were kind of catapulted into that bubble and that, you know, that kind of industry so young. And I think when we came out of it, it was kind of like a time of discovery individually for each of us. Yeah. And we all went on our different little journeys and then and then miraculously 10 years later, our paths joined again and we had this opportunity to reunite and we took it. Um, and the rest is history. [Music]
