I have a friend that chews gum like that between cigarettes and lines of coke.

Her whole comment seems erratic so I think she was trying to ask in the way of like, every actor has had that period of fear, and was just nervous and jumbled it.

I love the contrast of ATJ’s reaction to Chris just letting it roll off his back and even embracing it as partial truth lol

If he’s a failed actor, I wish to fail in life as much as he has.
The man is set for life and is picking random ass roles you can tell are all fun for him.

Okay, so this has hit on one of my soapbox topics:
You know how in the business world we identify and criticize the concept of “perpetual growth”, the idea that a business should just be growing wealth by like 10% every year, no matter what? Doesn’t matter if they’re stable, if they’ve cornered their market and are chugging along fine, they have to GROW every YEAR or else they’re FAILING and this leads to weird, short-sighted choices that hurt their market, or even make a quick buck in a way that will definitely harm them further on down the road.
Does anyone else feel like there’s a similar expectation in entertainment? Like, no matter how big a star gets, they have to keep climbing or at LEAST remain at that ‘star power’ level forever, or else they’re suddenly washed up. Doesn’t matter that getting older means fewer star roles are available, or that most people don’t want to grind their entire lives but in fact would probably PREFER to slow down once they can afford to. There has to be a new album out every year and a half, or a new box office hit, or what the fuck ever. No breaks, no popularity decline, and plateauing is the bare minimum. It’s fucking weird and completely unrealistic. Is it just me?

It’s not his fault. Movie star roles barely even exist anymore.

This is why we need to train and hire proper journalists regardless of the industry.

He’s worth 110 million. I wish my son, the actor, could fail like this.

That’s so weird?
I think they mean since avengers…
so so weird
I saw the movie and he doesn’t play a failed actor. He plays a basic action star from a popular film and is feeling jaded about his life/career.
He’s chewing the fuck outta that gum
