Prince Harry has arrived in the UK ahead of a four-day visit. He was pictured being driven out of Heathrow Airport in a dark Range Rover. Earlier, he was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport ahead of his attendance at the annual Wellchild Award ceremony in London this evening.

Wearing a dark polo shirt, black jeans, and dark sunglasses, the Duke of Sussex arrived at the airport accompanied by a couple of his security detail. Harry held a leather holdall in his right hand and his phone in his left as he made his way towards the plane.

He is understood to have landed in London at about 11:30am UK time.

His wife, Meghan Markle, is staying in the US to look after their children. Harry hopes to see his father on his four-day visit to the UK, but it is understood he still does not know whether this will happen.

Father and son have not seen each other face-to-face for over 19 months, when Harry rushed back to the UK to see the King after his cancer diagnosis was made public.

The King, who is staying in Balmoral, has no engagements planned for this week.

Harry is keen for reconciliation, following the public attacks he has made on the Royal Family since stepping down as a senior working royal, but royal circles are more sceptical.

It is understood that the Duke does not yet know whether his father will make the time to meet with him this week.

One of the Duke’s friends told The Sunday Times: “He’s not given up hope on bringing his family back to the UK.”

It is not yet known whether Harry will attend the Duchess of Kent’s funeral next week.
