How to Watch the 2025 MTV VMAs | E! News

The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards are almost here. Here’s everything you need to know about who’s nominated, who’s performing, and how to watch the show live. Some of this year’s most nominated artists include Lady Gaga, who leads the pack with a whopping 12 nominations, Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter, Rosé, Ariana Grande, and The Weekend. Mariah Carey is set to accept the Video Vanguard Award, honoring her career and influence on the recording industry. The Always Be My Baby singer will also treat viewers to a performance of her biggest hits. Additionally, Buster Rhymes will receive the first ever MTV VMA Rock the Bell’s Visionary Award to celebrate the cultural impact the rapper has made throughout his decades long career. Meanwhile, Ricky Martin will be accepting the Latin Icon Award as well as celebrating the 26th anniversary of his first VMA’s performance. LL CoolJ will MC the ceremony for his second time after co-hosting with Nicki Minaj and Jack Harlo in 2022. The awards kickoff live Sunday, September 7th at 8:00 p.m. ET, 5:00 p.m. PT from New York’s UBS Arena. For the first time ever, the show will air on CBS and be simoc cast on MTV and stream in the US on Paramount Plus. [Music]
