It’s been 2 months since this cold-hearted kiss cam moment blew up the careers and the marriages of the couple caught on the jumbotron. And now, astronomers HR mistress Kristen Kitt has filed for divorce. But that’s not all. Her husband and his ex-wife are speaking out. What is this? Melrose Place? On July 16th, Kristen and her boss, astronomer CEO Andy Byron, went massively viral for trying to hide their affair in front of 55,000 concert goers at Gillette Stadium in Boston. Her hubby Andrew Kat, heir to the Privateeer Rum Fortune, was in Japan at the time, blissfully unaware that his wife was canoodling with another man. Both Kristen and Andy resigned from their posts. Then a month later, August 13th, she filed for divorce, but it wasn’t until this week that the filing was public to us. Amid the news, a spokesman for the jilted husband, Andrew Kitt, told People magazine that he and Kristen were privately separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert and that their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening. However, skeptics say this might be all to save face. Just five months before the scandal, the Kitts purchased a $2.2 million house in coastal New Hampshire. However, Andrew Kitt’s second wife, Julia, is backing up his story. She told the Daily Mail they texted right after the Coldplay video, and he said Kristen’s life has nothing to do with me, confirming their separation. Julia, who also said her ex isn’t a nice person, added, “That’s why after it happened, I got loads of texts from people with that word karma. It was like what you give you get. Well, Taylor Swift famously said, “Karma is my boyfriend.” But in this case, Karma is her ex-husband. As for Andy Byron’s wife, she removed her marital name from Facebook immediately following the scandal. But no news yet if they’ll remain married or part ways.
