This is wild considering she’s the daughter of famous playwright David Mamet and actress Lindsay Crouse. You would think that people would be more respectful to her so they don’t burn any bridges with her dad or the family’s industry connections. If someone with that kind of built-in protection still gets screamed at for 30 minutes, how is everyone else getting treated?

At what point does he just show her how he wants the envelope to be held? He has an issue with it, he clearly wants it a certain way, so be specific instead of just being an ass for a half hour.

Let’s put it this way: Despite creating and showrunning one of the greatest and most widely beloved TV shows in history, Matthew Weiner hasn’t had a job in television or movies since 2018. “Accomplishing” that without getting Me Too’d or having a major public meltdown is almost impressive, and speaks to what a rancid asshole he must be, that *nobody* wants to work with him.

Just say “look, tell me what exactly I’m doing wrong and how you want me to fix it; otherwise you have the shot you need.” Zosia is an experienced actress from a power family in the industry…just speak up?
