A woman has appeared in court on charges which include wasting police time which relates to continually claiming Prince Harry had committed crimes.

    Ann Marie Donnelly (36) from Derrin Road, Enniskillen is accused of causing wasteful employment of the police by knowingly making 999 calls with false reports tending to show that an offence had been committed by Prince Harry, on dates between August 1 and 11.

    In addition Donnelly is charged with persistently misusing a public electronic communications network to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety on dates on and between July 31 and August 12.

    No further details surrounding the circumstances of the alleged offending were disclosed during the brief hearing at Enniskillen Magistrates Court.

    Donnelly, who represented herself in court, confirmed she understood the charges against her and advised she is not obtaining the services of a solicitor “at this time”.

    District Judge Alana McSorley remanded her on £200 bail to return to court on September 22.

    She also banned Donnelly from using the 999 system unless in a genuine emergency
