In a September 8th interview on Good Morning America, the Two and a Half Men alum looks back on his journey with addiction, explaining the moment he learned his father had stepped in to turn him into authorities after violating his probation in 1998. What was what was that like? It felt like a like it the just the the biggest betrayal you could possibly endure. So you didn’t see it as love. You saw it as betrayal. Saw it as love eventually. Um but in the moment it’s like when in the book when my bodyguard he comes to the bedroom door and he says, you know, the US Marshalss are on the way. You know, we’re we’re leaving in five. In 1998, the West Wing star turned in his son after Charlie overdosed on cocaine, which led to his probation from a 1997 assault plea to be extended. Charlie also entered rehab. Martin later told AARP magazine in 2008, “Involving police was the best course of action,” sharing, “This was a criminal matter. That was the leverage I had.” Charlie, who has been sober for eight years, has been exploring his past in a series of new projects. a memoir titled The Book of Sheen and an upcoming Netflix documentary titled AKA Charlie Sheen.     1. I can see why Martin did this. He was trying to save his son’s life no parents wants to lose their child and if this was a way of saving him when nothing else worked so be it😕

    2. Martin Sheen did the right thing. And the fact that Charlie still sees it as a betrayal is problematic. Hopefully Charlie can look at it with a different perspective.
