It was biscuit week, with contestants taking on three biscuit-based challenges – including making Hobnobs.
“I never want to see a Hobnob again in my life,” he told BBC Radio Surrey.
“I will never look one in the eye again with the same respect.
“But I would love to do it all again, without a doubt.”
Leighton also made orange biscuits with an intricate design and chocolate ganache.
Despite being pleased with his bake, it did not get him through to the next round.
The baker said he was still in contact with the other contestants and that the “challenges don’t get easier” on future episodes.
“I can tell you now, this series is full of exciting turns,” he added.
“There’s some fun along the way, without a doubt.”
The next episode will air on Channel 4 on 16 September.
