Reese Witherspoon Teases What to Expect in ‘Legally Blonde’ Prequel

The cast of The Morning Show hit the red carpet in New York City last night for the season 4 premiere and we spoke with Reese Wi with a spoon. I love working with Jen in any way. You know, just even today doing interviews, we just crack each other up and finish each other’s sentences and she’s just as warm and friendly as you hope she would be. You executive produced, you star in the show. What do you find the most rewarding about wearing both hats, especially for a show like this? I think being able to create a really safe uh creative environment. I think that Jen and I came in with a lot of intention to build a show that made actors feel comfortable and uh that everybody could bring their best self and I think we really did it. We do. I by the way I have to ask you about the Legally Blonde spin-off L. It’s coming out soon. How much fun was it for you to step back into that world and what can you tell us about the show? Well, I’m not in the show so yes. Okay. So, um it’s about Elwood High School. It’s set in the 90s, so we’re getting all that great 90s nostalgia. You’re just gonna love the show. It comes out next summer, so we we just finished. You have had such an incredible career. You have had this decadesl long career in the industry. What do you think is the single defining key to success for maintaining that longevity career? Oh, well, thank you for saying that. I just I keep my head down. I just try to work hard and I try to find projects I think audiences really will relate to. She’s so great. We also chatted with Reese’s co-star and BFF Jennifer Aniston about what she misses about playing Alex when I when we’re not working. They’re very exhausting people. Y but I love always I love coming back. So whatever that means. Yeah. Yeah. You and Reese have been working together for so long. You have this amazing relationship. What do you thought you most about that relationship? Oh, I I think just the history, the trust that we have for each other, uh the support, the respect, unbelievable amounts of respect, and I don’t know how she does everything that she does. So, she’s she’s quite a powerhouse. I love them together. And you can catch the Morning Show on Apple TV Plus starting September 17th.
