    1. Building your career off of LGBT+ folks and trans women specifically, and then come out and say bs like this will never not be offensive to me, Ariana Grande is my Glinda now bye Cheno

    2. Ewww gross. Which perspectives did you appreciate Kristin? Racism, homophobia, misogyny? Take your pick

Curious how the same people asking for empathy and expressing sympathy for his death have never posted about Palestine or even the many, many domestic school shootings here

Kristin, I’m afraid you’ve confused the sea with the horizon because that man is rotting in hellCurious how the same people asking for empathy and expressing sympathy for his death have never posted about Palestine or even the many, many domestic school shootings here

I’m not saying it’s right to celebrate such a brutal murder, because it would not be, but I also don’t understand kissing this guys ass.

    6. Do celebrities know they can just shut the hell up?? God!

More empathy for this fascist than Palestinian civilians, centrists never cease to horrify me.

    8. Kristin didn’t have to say anything, send the family flowers in private, but nooooooo you had to show your ass online where it’s permanent. Girl this man advocated for people dying the same way he did to gun violence, this isn’t a tragedy it’s a result of what he preached.

And this isn’t some “we shouldn’t do the same to them as us” because nobody has done shit to them and that’s the problem. People recognize the stupidity, let it happen, then conservatives want to act like victims for the chaos they caused. It’s stupid.

    9. Front row seat of a preview of the fake morality Olympics that will be occurring when IT happens.

    10. I’m seeing so many ppl say stuff like this. You appreciated his perspective? Respected that he spoke about his values? That he championed free speech (hate speech!) blow it out your ass fr

    11. Girl stfu. I’m so sick of this “he was a husband and father” rhetoric. Those two things don’t make someone morally superior. He was a bad person who spread hatred and misinformation and excused violence as long as he got what he wanted. Nothing of value has been lost.

It’s honestly disgusting to me that so many liberals, with no provocation whatsoever, are lining up to sanitize Kirk and what he stood for. This was the guy who wanted to overturn the Civil Rights Act, who doxxed professors, who smeared trans people as pedophiles, who lied about George Floyd’s cause of death, who thought that eleven year old rape victims should be forced to give birth, who cheered for the military occupation of DC, who associated with pedophiles/predators/abusers, who engaged in genocide denial, who was constantly inciting hatred of Muslims…and I could go on. And they, again entirely without being asked, are trying to turn that terrifying fascist into a cuddly teddy bear, a respectable man who just had some different beliefs. There is no reason for them to do this. The Republicans would not do the same if the roles were reversed, and indeed they haven’t. These loud, performative displays of grief will not make the fascists like you or even appease their anger. Nor will they stop the fascist takeover or prevent acts of far-right terror in the future. The *only* thing, and I do mean the *only* thing, that this bullshit accomplishes is sanewashing an incredibly dangerous person and his violent, far-right ideology.

Condemning his murder is one thing—violence, and in particular gun violence, is a serious problem in this country that needs to be addressed—but turning him into some saintly martyr figure is quite a-fucking-nother. You aren’t honoring his legacy by being dishonest about the harm he caused, you’re just guaranteeing that more people will get hurt in the future.
