Shaun White, Nina Dobrev Break Up, End Engagement | E! News

Shawn White and Nina Dobrev are calling it quits after Shawn popped the question in October. The pair have ended their engagement and split after five years together. According to People magazine, a source tells the magazine, quote, “It was a mutual decision and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another.” E-News has reached out to both of their reps for comment, but has not yet heard back. The Olympic gold medalist and the actress announced their engagement on Instagram October 30th with Shawn writing in the caption alongside photos of the romantic candle lit proposal, quote, “She said yes.” Nah later added in her own post, quote, “RIP boyfriend, hello fiance.” And just this past March, the Vampire Diaries actress who started dating Shawn back in 2019 admitted to E!News news that the two were taking their time wedding planning and were enjoying their engagement, saying, quote, “It’s so fun to say fiance.” While also noting that, quote, “My number one goal is to find out how to make it as low impact as possible.
