Sudbury Silk Mills has connections with the Royal Family as Queen Camilla’s coronation dress was woven by Stephen Walters & Sons, based at Sudbury Silk Mills.
Her ivory, silver, and gold embroidered dress was created by British designer Bruce Oldfield, who has long been a client of the Suffolk-based company.
The Princess of Wales’s trip to Sudbury is in celebration of the British textiles industry, and she will be carrying out a series of visits to the manufacturing mills across the country.
After visiting the Suffolk market town, Her Royal Highness is expected to travel to Kent to visit Marina Mill.
