Her funeral was confirmed by Buckingham Palace earlier this week. The statement read: “The Funeral of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent will take place at Westminster Cathedral on Tuesday, 16th September at 1400hrs BST.”

It also confirmed: “Ahead of the Funeral, The Duchess of Kent’s coffin will rest in the private chapel at Kensington Palace.”

Sharing their verdict, 3,368 people [78 percent] of the 4,295 who cast a vote shared that they don’t think Harry should return so soon and attend the late royal’s funeral.

841 voters [20 percent] shared that they do think Harry should return to the UK an attend the funeral in London. As well as the voters who shared either a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ vote, an additional 86 people [2 percent] shared that they ‘don’t know’ whether Harry should attend.

Following his visit to his home country, Harry has now made a surprise trip to Ukraine.

Harry told The Guardian that he was invited by Olga Rudnieva, the boss of the Superhumans Trauma Centre in Lviv.

He said: “I bumped into Olga in New York. It was a chance meeting and I asked her what I could do to help. She said [that] ‘the biggest impact you have is coming to Kyiv’.”
