Trump says Charlie Kirk shooting suspect is in custody

why is trump the one breaking news and giving updates on this? Kirk didn’t work for the government

I’m dumbfounded by the media’s and right-wing machine’s reaction to Charlie Kirk’s murder. With the exception of fringe extremists, no one supports political or ideological violence. It’s deeply concerning that we’re heading in that direction. But the hysteria- and the vilification of anyone who dares to acknowledge that, while his murder is abhorrent, Kirk also played a role in poisoning our public discourse, is alarming in its own right.

I hope they caught whoever did this.

Not to sound tin foil hat-y, but Trump leading the news breaks with this story feels deeply suspicious…especially when you read up on Kirk’s publically-aired views on the Epstein files and their release.

Every time republicans say “political violence is never the answer”, remember it is because they want the state and its cronies to have a monopoly on political violence

He says a lot of things.

Well, this guy is a fucking liar and a pedo, so I’ll believe it when I see it—and even then I’ll be suspicious.

Why is he constantly announcing updates on this case? It’s so weird to me.
