Instead of fighting the subpoena, it appears Taylor Swift is agreeing to sit for a deposition. This likely means that her legal team is working behind the scenes with Belon’s legal team to limit the types of questions that can be asked. There would have to be some advantage for Swift to agree to sit for a deposition without actually fighting the subpoena as she said she was going to do at the very beginning of the case. Now, because there appears to be an agreement, she’s going to sit for a deposition. And it’s likely that Beldon’s team needed to make some concessions in order to avoid a battle about whether or not she was going to be deposed.
