Pregnant Michelle Dockery Details Bringing a Baby into ‘Downton Abbey’ Family | E! News

Michelle Dockery is preparing for another role of a lifetime, being a mom. The 43-year-old who is pregnant with her first baby, shared her thoughts about becoming a mom ahead of the release of Downtown Abbey, the grand finale. Speaking on the end of the series and her new baby, Michelle tells today’s Jenna Bush Hager September 9th. It must feel like um an interesting time, a beautiful time to do that as you say goodbye to one thing. It certainly feels like a new chapter in many ways for for all of us and uh yeah and personally for myself. It’s yeah it’s a new chapter. I’m very excited. Michelle’s pregnancy comes nearly 2 years after she and Jasper Wallerbridge tied the knot at a London church in front of friends and family including his older sister Phoebe Wallerbridge. The mom to be debuted her baby bump in a powder blue gown while appearing alongside her husband at the red carpet premiere of the series in London September 3rd. Families like ours must keep moving to survive. And all of your support is more important to me than I can say. If Mama were alive, what would she do? [Music] Downtown Abbey.
