Prince William was reportedly ‘against’ the recent reunion between King Charles and Prince Harry.
The Duke of Sussex met the monarch this week in what was the first time the pair had seen each other in 19 months.
Relationships between Harry and other members of the Royal Family have been fractured since he stepped back as a senior working royal and moved to the US with wife Meghan Markle.
But it seems the first steps in mending his relationship with his father were taken when the pair had tea together at Clarence House on Wednesday, September 10.

Despite this, a royal expert said Harry’s rift with his brother Prince William was far from over, The Sun reports.
Royal commentator Daisy McAndrew claimed William ‘doesn’t want anything to do with Harry’.
Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, she said: “I think we’ve both said it’s early days, but this is the beginning, potentially…
“Well, baby steps. And also, I still think that William’s a big problem. As in, I don’t blame him at all.
“I don’t mean that in a derogatory way.
“But certainly my impression is he doesn’t feel comfortable with this rift being fixed and he, I don’t think, would have wanted this meeting to have gone ahead.
“My impression is that he thinks Harry’s too much trouble and he doesn’t want anything to do with him and he would rather the King didn’t as well.
“So he’s going to have to be brought onside if they’re going to fix this.”
Harry, 40, visited King Charles for private tea during his four-day trip to the UK.
He last saw the monarch in February 2024 when he left his home in Montecito, California, to see his father following his cancer news.
