Kate Middleton looked sharp on Thursday as she paid a visit to Sudbury Silk Mills, a textile mill in Sudbury, England.

For the occasion, she was dressed immaculately in a plaid blazer, which she paired with a black top, a gold necklace and matching trousers. But most notably, she donned a pair of sky-high black pumps that were so distracting I almost missed her famous parenting move, a gesture she has displayed on several occasions.

The move involves the Princess crouching down to eye level with children. The parenting tip is used to create a level playing field and establish trust with a child, making them feel more at ease while talking to adults. As such, the Princess pulls out this move often, including during her visit to Sudbury Silk Mills, which, according to Kensington Palace, was to “celebrate the unique skill, creativity and craftsmanship of British textile manufacturers.”

Kate’s move has even been used by royals, such as Queen Letizia of Spain, who was seen doing it while paying a visit to a fire-damaged area in Sanabria Lake Natural Park in Zamora. In May, Duchess Sophie visited staff and students at the Royal School for the Blind Charity, and in a video shared by the Buckingham Palace Instagram account afterwards, she could be seen getting down to the eye level of the children at the school.

As for the Princess of Wales, she and Prince William have a busy week ahead. They are set to begin coordinating a visit that will welcome the U.S. President and First Lady to the U.K. Catherine will be participating in a joint engagement with First Lady Melania Trump at Frogmore Gardens, where they will learn more about nature.

And who knows? Maybe Kate will do her famous parenting move again.
