Rose Byrne: “It’s Really Like Nothing You’ve Seen Before”
Um, my question for you is when you received this script, especially as a woman, what did it mean to you and what did it make you feel before you took on the role? You know, there’s such a the script is I I mean, Mary Bronstein, the writer, director, she really set the page on fire when she wrote this script. It is wild and it it moves at a clip. It’s it has great pace and it had a beautiful symmetry about it. And I think the symmetry is is you really see it in the in the finished product and her the tension she creates with the visual language um is really it’s such a such a triumph as a director. I wish she was here. She’s unfortunately she’s ill tonight. But um I it it’s it is a a wild ride this movie really like nothing you’ve seen before. I can’t wait. Thank you so much. I thank you.
From symmetry to suspense, Rose Byrne breaks down what makes If I Had Legs I’d Kick You a cinematic triumph at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.
