Paul Wesley Reveals Why He and Nina Dobrev Didn’t Get Along on ‘The Vampire Diaries’
and we kept it on the DL cuz we did a lot of press and we did a lot of stuff but her and I just notoriously buted heads. Paul Wesley is getting real about his past feud with Nina Dobrev. 6 years after Nenah revealed that the Vampire Diaries co-stars weren’t exactly fans of each other while filming early seasons of the show, Paul is now sharing his side of the story, explaining on the September 11th episode of the Podcrushed podcast. It’s so funny because people thought we had such great chemistry and we were like the romantic like love story on on the show and we kept it on the DL because we did a lot of press and we did a lot of stuff but her and I just notoriously buted heads like and I mean we we wouldn’t get into these like we got into one big blowout fight on set and they were like okay everybody take a half hour and uh we’re going to pause filming for a minute and everyone’s going to cool off. You know that kind of thing. However, as the seasons progressed, Paul shares he and Nah became more comfortable with one another. And now, almost a decade after filming Raft, he considers her one of his best friends. And the irony is that now we’re such good friends and we like are, you know, once we stepped away from the show and even later, like in later seasons, we just became buddies. I was like, let’s hang out. And then we started doing and then it’s one of it’s just like this funny thing because like her and I are like actual like bros now and we get along so well. [Music]
