      I just love how some of the most useless members of our society have decided this is their time to shine by lecturing the rest of us on how we should have empathy for a cruel propagandist

      People really hate it when one quotes Kirk himself or mention what he did in life – he propagated political violence. I’m sorry that some don’t like honesty about who Kirk was because it exposes the rot they’ve allowed to set within themselves.

      Interesting that she ends that saying how women should be able to go wherever they want. If she understood who Kirk was she would know that he wants all women in the home at all times. He absolutely would have blamed any woman for being assaulted in public (unless it furthered some kind of racist point he wanted to make)

      I will not be moralised to by a MAGAt, I’ve seen what they cheer for. I will not be moralised to by a scummy crypto-scammer, or by anyone who thinks an objection to racism, homophobia, transphobia and misogyny is simply a difference political opinion. Kirk was a virulent and unrepentant hate-monger right up until the moment he was shot, he had a negative influence on the world and I’m not sorry.

      Also these people keep appealing to “decency” and insisting that it shouldn’t be about his actions, that somehow they’re not relevant. However it clearly is about his actions, it always is. If this happened to Putin, for example, very few of us would feel bad, you wouldn’t get so many videos like this. Obviously they’re only mad because one of their favourite bigots got [redacted].

      It seems like they’re repeating it to reassure themselves they’re the good guys, because certainly to me, and I imagine many other people, it rings so so hollow.
