Prince Harry has been advised not to rush things following his recent UK visit in order to fully redeem himself in the eyes of the British public.

The Duke of Sussex spent four days in the UK, engaging in various activities related to causes close to his heart.

He also had a private meeting with his father, King Charles, at Clarence House for the first time in 19 months. The pair spent 55 minutes together and the meeting was seen by many as a potential first step towards reconciliation between the two parties. Prince William and Kate Middleton didn’t attend the meeting as they were busy with other engagements.

Renae Smith, founder of PR agency The Atticism, suggested to The Express that Harry should continue with the same approach in his future visits if he wishes to succeed in redeeming his image. She said, “The best strategy for Harry now is slow and steady.

“Regular, low-key appearances that build solid foundations rather than flashy moments. If he can keep this up for a year or so, I’d call that a full image reset.”

Smith praised Harry’s UK visit as a “huge success”, stating it ticked all the right boxes.

She elaborated, “From a PR perspective, the strength was in its authenticity. Every engagement felt genuine, with a clear philanthropic thread running through it. I’ve always said philanthropy is his safest and strongest space. It plays to his strengths without inviting controversy.

“Another big win was tone. Nothing felt gloaty or self-congratulatory. Harry avoided the trap of making charity work about himself or making snarky remarks during speeches etc, he just got on with it, and that’s exactly what people want to see from him.”

The expert continued, “The meeting with his father was also handled well. It wasn’t dramatic, it didn’t spark gossip, and that quieter energy is exactly what he needs.

“If I were advising him, I’d be calling this trip a huge success, it ticked every PR box.”
