If you’re lucky, you may spot them making smoking look chic again while repping their brand The Row on the streets of New York. However, until now, their last public outing together was three whole years ago.
The twins made their first public appearance in three years on September 11, attending a W Magazine and Bloomingdale’s party during New York Fashion Week. They were photographed posing with W’s editor-in-chief, Sara Moonves during the event. Both twins appear to have gone for a darker hair shade as fall approaches, ditching their signature blonde locks in favor of a more subdued bronde shade.

The sisters wore casual ‘fits (naturally), with Ashley wearing black pants, boots, and a sweater, while Mary-Kate wore jeans, boots, and a black wool coat. Both carried black handbags. In an unexpected twist, the twins added a throwback millennial accessory to their looks: the oversized blanket scarf. Talk about a 2012 throwback.

The twins last make a joint public appearance at The Row’s show during Paris Fashion Week in 2022. Prior to that, they appeared together at the CFDA awards in New York City in 2019.
More recently, the Olsens have been spotted on solo outings. Just a few weeks ago, Ashley made a rare appearance with her husband Louis Eisner at the YES Scholars 25th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Mary-Kate was spotted in the Hamptons in July.

As the twins’ younger sister Elizabeth Olsen recently said on Today with Jenna & Friends, the pair have a special connection. “I also really admire the partnership that [Mary-Kate and Ashley] have and don’t compete with it, in a way. It’s something different,” she said, per People. “It’s a really interesting thing to watch. I admire it. It’s a different kind of connection.”
