The way the Alexander Wang was able to take a very brief hiatus and then just saunter back in with collections and fanfair and support is wild.

I say this as someone who wears black every day, but I don’t get the appeal of Alexander Wang. Obviously, he’s a horrible person, but, as a designer, he doesn’t bring anything new or interesting to the table.
i think, especially when it comes to fashion, so many people are able and willing to let bad behavior slide because the person who committed the wrongs isn’t as visible.
publicly supporting chris brown is a no no (in theory but we know how that goes) but a fashion designer? lots of people see them as just the name for the brand and not a part of the actual person.

These people would attend the opening of an envelope as long as there was press.

The Fashion Workers Act that passed this year goes into effect at the end of the year. It was a bill made to adress abuse of models in the fashion industry . The industry had been completely unregulated up to this point.
