The Bear is missing its star. Despite being once again nominated for his performance on the hit FX series, Jeremy Allen White was noticeably absent from the 2025 Emmys. Variety reports that the Emmy winner skipped the ceremony because his best friend is getting married. E-News has reached out for comment, but has not heard back. Still, he and his castmates already had a lot to celebrate with 13 Emmy award nominations. Though the previous season of The Bear set a new comedy series record with 23 Emmy nominations, breaking 30 Rock’s prior record of 22 nominations set in 2009. Also at the September 2024 Emmy Awards, Eban Moss Backrack won for supporting actor in a comedy series, his second in the category for the show, while Jeremy won the Emmy for actor in a comedy series.
