How Owen Cooper, Tramell Tillman and More Made History at Emmys 2025 | E! News

Here’s all the celebs who made history at the 2025 Emmys. As Hollywood celebrates the biggest night in television on September 14th, some celebrities prove their weight in gold as they were honored for their historic wins and nominations. Adolescent star Owen Cooper became the youngest performer to earn the award for outstanding supportive actor in a limited or anthology series or movie and the youngest ever male Emmy winner at just 15 years old. Additionally, severance star Trel Tilman makes history as the first black man to win in the outstanding supporting actor in a drama series category. But it wasn’t just actors who made history. The studio, which took home outstanding comedy series, and Seth Rogan’s outstanding lead actor in a comedy series award, broke the all-time record for most wins for a comedy series with 13 gold statueets. While the winners made history at the 77th annual ceremony, some of the evening’s nominees did, too. 21-year-old Bella Ramsay’s recognition in the outstanding lead actress in a drama series for The Last of Us made them the youngest two-time nominee in the category, as well as the first non-binary person to be nominated for more than one Emmy. Additionally, Kathy Bates became the oldest nominee in the outstanding lead actress in a drama series category for Matlock at age 77. [Music]
