Reba McEntire, Rex Linn Confirm Engagement at Emmys 2025 | E! News

Reeba McIntyre is a bride to be. A rep for the singer confirms to E! Newews that Reeba is engaged to her Happy Place co-star Rex Lynn after five years of dating. The pair first met on the 1991 set of a Kenny Rogers film, but didn’t start dating until 2020. Reeba and Rex confirmed the engagement on the Emmys red carpet, speaking with Zuri Hall on the Live from E Red Carpet pre-show. Joining me now is one of tonight’s performers, Reba McIntyre and her fiance, Rex Lynn. co-starring on Happy Place, too, from what I hear. Yeah, we’re having a blast on Happy Place. I’m so glad to be here tonight. Yeah. Well, you guys look great. What a date night this is. You’re going to be performing tonight in the Golden Girls Tribute iconic television. Were you a fan of it? Absolutely. I still am a fan of it. It’s a It’s a show that you can watch forever. Absolutely. I mean, 40 years of the gold that is this series. Rex, what about you? Fan of the Golden Girls. I mean, if you’re not a fan of the Golden Girls, it would be like not liking puppies. I’m absolutely a Golden Girl fan. That’s a really great way to put it, honestly, because who doesn’t love puppies? So, you know, I got to ask this is like the Sex in the City question, too. Of the Golden Girls, who do you most relate to? Who’s your favorite? Dorothy. Why Dorothy? I feel more like Dorothy. I think I’m to the point. Yeah. Yeah. I like it. It’s just the plan. She’s just an accent, maybe. It’s cute. And I love it. She’s hysterical. I love me some players. Rose. Oh my gosh. A little bit of all of them. Right. You can catch her late at night watching rerun. Do you still? Oh yeah. Oh my gosh. And you know that theme song is so iconic. Thank you for being a friend. Um when you think about your journey in Hollywood, who do you want to thank? Who has been there along the way for you? The best thing about this entertainment business, no matter what genre it is, is the friends that you make when you’re going up the ladder. And hopefully those friends will be there if you happen to be going back down the ladder. Amen. But overall, friends are the best thing to collect when you’re in this business. Absolutely.
