Charlie Hunnam Gets Naked as Ed Gein in Terrifying Monster Trailer | E! News

You’re the one can’t look away. Actor Charlie Hunnham debuts a horrific transformation as murderer and grave robber Ed Gene in the bone chilling trailer for Netflix’s Monster the Ed Gene Story. In the preview released September 15th, the actor reveals his take on the infamous serial killer, including a change to his voice to embody Gan, who was obsessed with his mother, played by actress Lorie Medcaf, and with wearing human flesh. [Music] Eddie, you’re a mess. Only a mother could love you. [Music] When I look back upon my life, it’s always with a sense of shame. I’ve always been the one to blame. for everything I long to do. [Music] No matter where. [Music] Is this okay? [Music] [Music] I just feel like I’m a puzzle and none of the pieces fit. He even takes out his sinister obsession on a young woman named Evelyn Hartley, played by Addison Ray, as she sits in lingerie, trapped and terrified in his underground workroom. [Music] What did you do? You’re the one can’t look away. It’s a sin. As the series description explains, GE’s House of Horrors became the inspiration for many of Hollywood’s most well-known villains and horror films, including Psycho to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre to The Silence of the Lambs. Monster: The Ed Gain Story premieres October 3rd on Netflix. [Music]
