The answer is because they don’t have everything they want. They have won the psychological aspect of mentally convincing people alot of people to submit but they have not won public opinion. You can bot a comments section but you can’t bot real life. That birthday parade? That’s real life. Sad military, not enough paid actors to feign support. A depressed Dollar Tree Dictator. That painted the perfect scene of MAGA. These people are not winning. They are losing. As they continue to lose expect them to get louder, more desperate, and more pathetic in their reaching. Nobody that racist and obsessive is going down without kicking and screaming. The key to it all is, they are going down. Rapidly. That’s what happens when you move too quickly and too loudly. Like a bunch of frat boys doing their first fascist takeover.

They’re trying to make MAGA angry. They’re rage baiting them into civil unrest and ensuring they stay angry for the next election.

    3. I think their entire lives have been this bizarre combination of a victim/abuser mentality. They are so identified with being against the status quo that they can’t even recognize that they’ve won everything they wanted.

The most positive possible interpretation is that if they’re unaware of what they have, it can be taken away as easily as they got it.

    4. Good question. I grew up in a 70% MAGA voting zone and many people in my town, and school were always raging and angry, like since I was a kid. There was always a lot of bullying and fighting in school. My graduating classes Facebook now is mostly deranged stuff 24/7. I tried to figure out some social cause for a while but could never figure it out. I think it’s something biological like they were exposed to too much leaded gas fumes. Some of us just got lucky cuz our folks bought a Toyota early on or something

    5. When you loath yourself and deny your vulnerability this is what you do. You puke all of that rage and disgust with yourself out onto others and are willing to kill to protect this denial. This is why they worship the pedo/felon because he makes them feel that he will protect their denial and they are intoxicated by it. Literally millions of people are doing this. We have a national mental health crisis with regards to this specifically. It’s so vile.

    6. Every morning they turn on Fox News or a similar network and are fed a new list of situations to be outraged about.

This is one of the women that Kirk said lacked the cognitive function to get a job without DEI, no wonder he was so threatened

I truly think they were angry to begin with and they won’t change no matter how much power they have. It’s a personality type.

    9. Because despite it all, they still have an empty hole where their humanity should be. No amount of bitterness and cruelty can fix it.

    10. IMO it’s a combination of two things:

      1. There’s money and power in rage. If the MAGA leaders and right media keep pushing that anger, it improves their viewership and keeps the base engaged, which is necessary since they know the midterms could be devastating (and makes it easier to grift).
      2. The actual MAGA base are seeing the results of getting what they wished for, but it’s fucking awful and they can’t cope. They can’t accept they are wrong about anything — Trump’s #1 tactic — so they have to blame someone else or ignore what they see and hope it doesn’t cause an aneurysm.

Remember back in 2016 Trump won, and he still couldn’t stop bitching about Hillary. There’s some kind of black hole or bottomless pit to these guys that can never be satiated.

They are angry because their lives still suck.

It’s almost like their lives suck because of the bad decisions they have made, and not some random Mexican two towns over.

A huge part of it is this delusional belief that the thing standing between them, individually (not as a group) and unlimited power, wealth, and ease is somehow the people they have such raging hate for, and not the billionaires whose boots they’re licking. Until each and every one of them is somehow restored to what they feel is their rightful place of power and wealth right next to Donald Trump, they will somehow convince themselves they’re still being robbed.
