Donald Trump Calls Kate Middleton ‘So Beautiful’ During Historic UK State Visit

    President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump received a royal welcome in the United Kingdom. On September 17th, Trump and his wife were greeted by Prince William and Kate Middleton as they stepped off Marine 1 at Windsor Castle. The US president appeared to compliment the Princess of Wales while shaking her hand, telling her that she’s so beautiful. According to multiple published reports, after making their way to the castle, the Trumps were then welcomed by King Charles and Queen Camila. The 79-year-old and his wife also appeared to match for the occasion. Melania wore a purple hat while her husband had on a purple tie. Later, Trump rode with King Charles in a royal carriage, followed by Melania with Queen Camila and then Prince William and Kate Middleton. Secretary of State Marco Rubio also joined a meeting and was photographed alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales inside Windsor Castle. Trump’s second state visit is unprecedented as typically United States presidents don’t receive a second state visit if elected to another term according to CNN. His first state visit was in 2019 with Queen Elizabeth.
